Exercise and Enrichment

We provide 3 leader walks a day come rain, hail, or shine! Allowing a time for your dog to go to the toilet, mooch and explore the new environment, ensuring we can monitor your dog’s health and wellbeing at regular intervals throughout the day.

Situated in the heart of the countryside often means the wild animals are out and about so leader walks to ensure optimum safety.

Please ensure your dog has the legally required name tag and a safe and secure collar/harness. We may use our own rope choke leads if we feel it necessary to ensure the dog remains in control.

Every dog is different, and some dogs are choosy as to where they go to the toilet, if this is the case please make us aware of this to ensure we can accommodate their needs.

We walk dogs individually or family groups if housed together to avoid any unnecessary conflict. (Routines may alter for puppies or old dogs to offer a more specialised program of activities).

The outdoor play paddocks are used throughout the day to allow dogs time off the lead in a safe environment.

The indoor playpen can enable dogs to have fun when the weather is unpleasant. These facilities enable us to spend time with each dog, to evaluate their needs and character with the aim of building up a good relationship with them.

Toys are provided in the pens and food enrichment toys can be used within the kennel area if we feel this would be beneficial.

There are often new ideas and resources related to enrichment programs for dogs, that we embrace, though we do have to mindful that each dog is different so what suits one does not necessarily suit all!

The radio is on to distract from any outside noises and offer a background noise.
